PIM is the abbreviation for Product Information Management. So-called PIM systems therefore deal with the management and control of product information. This product information includes, for example, item prices, dimensions, descriptions or product images. In many companies, however, product information is not stored centrally, but in many different systems, Excel spreadsheets and databases.
